Re: Paris ....be London soon enough
Paris has always been the petulant spoilt brat of the 7 French states - at least from what I learnt working as an international telecom engineer back in the 1970s.

Engineers in all the other provincial state capitals were very friendly and we would exchange data about current affairs, football, almost anything except politics, which the grown-ups in both counties frowned on. We'd even agree to swap languages each time so we'd better understand each other,

In Paris?

Non! Non! Non! Absolument NON!

I could here the engineers in cities like Lille & Bordeax chuckling quietly as I told them of my telephonic adventures in their country's capital.

Basically Paris & the Parisians won't be told and can't be wrong solely because it's Paris and they're Parisians. A trait the UK authorities seem hell-bent on emulating.

France has banned the full head dress on Muslim women in public places. Has UK?

But you're right that France has a fondness for their past colonies such as Algeria which is the equivalent of our relationship with India I guess. But the RW rise in French politics is happening just as it will in UK but that's politicians for you. They rarely live in areas dominated by immigrants. They also have a short life span in the job and then leave all the shit behind them while raking in £millions from high business connections...

No change there then but if you ask them they were all part of the resistance

Muslim uprising says the video? So were the 2011 riots here a Christian uprising given most of the rioters here will have had Christian ancestry?

When was this anyway?

Re: Paris ....be London soon enough
France is different

They have the french colonies which are all muslim

Their country has that relaxed muslim thing, that shit won't be tolerated here but is in france.

These cab drivers breed like cockroaches. One day they'll take over the country.

Tick tock.

I did say 'immigrants' as well, yes I'm aware not all immigrants aren't white thanks.

Anyway back to my question, any proof this is a Muslim/ or immigrant only riot?

Islam is an ideology not a race.

You seem to think only 'brown' people are Muslims.

No, they were all white Parisian Lawyers angry at the price increase of Latte at the local Starbucks.

cholo 7:37 Thu Jul 16
Re: Paris ....be London soon enough
Any evidence that all or most of the rioters were Muslim or even immigrants. Plenty of white people in amongst it. All I saw was a single Palestinian flag. I know that WHO loves to jump to conclusions.

I agree, Paris is a great place. They just need to reintroduce the guilotine for those who outstay their welcome.

I like Paris, been a few times, well apart from the shopkeepers, beggars, drivers, rude French people who wont speak English, the traffic, tour guides, those pay to use toilets, gypsies, pick pockets, taxi drivers, waiters, Metro staff who pretend they don’t understand English, Gendarmes, hotel receptionists, stink of Gauloises cigarettes, snails, expensive beer.

But apart from that I like Paris………..

No. Nothing like anythig ever seen at Upton Park and an extremly crass comparison to make. These are a breed of people who want to destroy a host nation who has fed them, and will not stop until they are stopped.

Posted in january, but obviously summertime, so no later than summer 2014.

Seems a bit like the good old days at West Ham when there was so much fun chanting KILL KILL KILL THE BILL for whatever reason we had. Time I rememeber was home against millwall in the simod? cup when we couldn't get at millwall due to the huge escort, so attention was turned on the police instead. No tear gas, but very VERY similar scenes.

Parisians going retro east end, no?
